Fire Trucks for Serena, Coquimbo, Santiago and Talagante

Moments of great joy and satisfaction invaded the parking lot of the headquarters of the National Board of Fire Brigades, because this Tuesday March 17 the dream of a new unit became true.

Fire Corps Coquimbo, headed by Superintendent Heriberto Martinez; de la Serena, with its Superintendent Raul Cortes; Talagante with Superintendent Jose Espinoza and Santiago, with his Deputy Superintendent, Marco Antonio Cumsille, were the protagonists of the ceremony, which was headed by the National President of Firemen, Miguel Reyes, accompanied by the President of the Metropolitan Regional Council Claudio Bustamante.

The National President used the occasion to remember the responsibility that should be taken in driving trucks since fire units are no exempted from complying with traffic regulations. He also mentioned the maintenance and care that should be offered to these vehicles.

Miguel Reyes highlighted the contribution of regional governments to purchase more equipment units for Fire Departments in the country.

For its part, the regional director Claudio Bustamante stressed the importance of the unity that received the Fire Department of Santiago, whose mechanical scale reaches 55 meters and will serve to all emergencies in the metropolitan area. He also congratulated the Fire Departments of Coquimbo and La Serena on this important acquisition.
